Before You Ask
A tour booking website lets travellers find, plan and book your tours on your own site instead of a marketplace. Ours go further than a booking button: visitors take a travel-personality quiz, get recommendations with reasons, generate a day-by-day itinerary, edit it on a drag-and-drop trip planner, see it on a map and book your tours from it — all on WordPress, with the Tour Booking Pro plugin.
Most sites launch in 7–10 days, depending on how many tours, activities and destinations you have and how much content — prices, photos, descriptions — is ready at kickoff.
Starter is $750: the full plugin, one destination guide, up to 10 tours or activities entered for you and booking links to your system. Growth is $1,500: up to 40 listings, several destinations, tuned recommendation rules, a second language and 60 days of support. Multi-destination operators and integrations are quoted individually.
Yes. Every tour has its own booking link, so you can keep the reservation system you already use (and its payments), or on Growth and Custom we can set up online payment or deposits through WooCommerce with a card processor such as Stripe.
No. It is a rule-based, weighted scoring engine across interests, travellers, budget, destination and pace. You can add your own IF/THEN rules on the Recommendation Rules screen without code, preview where every point comes from, and every suggestion shows a plain-language reason.
No. Leaflet is bundled in the plugin, so maps need no API key, no account and no third-party script. Maps can also be switched off entirely.
Yes — it only uses your content. The generator builds day-by-day plans from your tours, activities and restaurants, respecting opening hours, pace and your maximum activities per day, and splits multi-town trips sensibly.
Drag and drop items between days by mouse, touch or keyboard; edit times and costs; swap an item for a similar, cheaper, indoor or shorter alternative; add their own plans; and undo. They also see a budget comparison and a packing list with a reason on every item.
Yes. Logged-in visitors get a My Trips page; guests can plan without an account and carry their trip over on request when they sign up. Any trip can be printed, exported to a calendar (.ics) file or downloaded as one self-contained HTML file that works offline.
No. It sorts places by distance with an “I have 1 hour / 2 hours / half a day” filter, and the visitor’s location never leaves their browser.
Yes. The plugin can install 36 clearly labelled Sri Lanka demo items in one click — and remove them in one click — so you can test every feature before your own tours are in.
Yes. There are sixteen shortcodes and an Elementor widget for each, plus theme-overridable templates if you prefer to design in code.
Yes. The plugin is translation-ready with 1,139 strings and works with the usual WordPress multilingual plugins. Growth includes one additional language; Custom covers as many as you need.
Yes. We can install and configure the plugin on most existing WordPress sites, or build a new site and redirect your old pages so you keep your search rankings.
Yes. The REST API offers read-only content, stateless planning endpoints and authenticated saved-trip routes, all rate limited. Heavy endpoints are cached with immediate invalidation and use about a third fewer queries.
Nothing is removed unless you opt in. Uninstall is clean, but your content, settings and saved trips stay unless you tick the option to delete them.
Every build includes local SEO foundations: destination guides, tour pages built around real searches like “boat tours in [city]”, structured data and fast mobile pages. Rankings also depend on your reviews, Google Business Profile and competition — see our Travel Website SEO page for how we approach it.
It’s the work that helps a tour operator show up when people search for things like “things to do in Lisbon”, “Santorini boat tour” or “private tour Rome”. It combines a fast, well-structured site, useful destination and tour pages, structured data, a complete Google Business Profile and a steady flow of genuine reviews.
You need a genuinely useful page for each destination that matters to your business — not copy-pasted pages with the name swapped. Destination guides with seasonal calendars, tips and your tours are what search engines reward and what travellers actually read.
No one can guarantee that, but you can make it easy for AI assistants to understand and cite you. Every build includes answer-first summaries, FAQ markup, clean headings and an llms.txt file describing your business, tours and destinations.
No — and be wary of anyone who does. Rankings depend on competition, reviews and other factors outside the website. What we guarantee is a fast, technically sound, well-structured site that gives you the best possible foundation.
30–60 days of support is included with every build, with ongoing maintenance plans available after that.
Both include the full plugin — quiz, recommendations, itinerary generator, trip planner and maps. Starter covers one destination and up to 10 listings entered for you. Growth covers several destinations, up to 40 listings, recommendation rules tuned to your tours, a second language, online payment setup and 60 days of support instead of 30.
Dani, our lead developer, designs and builds every site personally — no account managers or outsourced development. When you message us, you’re talking to the person writing your code.
Yes. We’re remote-first and build for tour, activity and transfer operators anywhere — including Sri Lanka, where the plugin’s demo content comes from. Our destination pages cover 45 places in seven countries, but the process and pricing are the same everywhere.
